No real reason why I posted this, other then I am waiting to blog about the upcoming "ARCTIC BLAST" Heading towards TX. Mass hysteria hasn't set in yet, but I can only assume it's lurking around the corner. More to come when the front actually blows in. Wish me luck.

A Meme, because I'm lazy

A Meme according to Wikipedia (fount of knowledge that it may be)

"Refers to a unit of cultural information transferable from one mind to another. Dawkins said, Examples of memes are tunes, catch-phrases, clothes fashions, ways of making pots or of building arches. A meme propagates itself as a unit of cultural evolution and diffusionanalogous in many ways to the behavior of the gene (the unit of genetic information). Often memes propagate as more-or-less integrated cooperative sets or groups, referred to as memeplexes or meme-complexes. "

In non-jargonese, it's something that is passed on or stolen from someone else that tells about the person writing.

Without further ado (or rambling), a Me Me Meme stolen from Steve's Nude Memphis blog (who I believe stole it from someone else).

Politics as usual.

Well, the Democrats won in the House, and ate into the Republican Senate (at least at the time of this blogging). What does this really mean? In the short term, nothing. The sun will still rise, the Earth will still turn, and we all will still have to go to work tomorrow. For the long term, my hope, is that the Dems will show themselves for who they really are, and Conservatives will win in '08.

Now, that was a powerful statement about my political beliefs, but it doesn't really address everything I believe. Let me clarify, so that any chance I actually have of building a readership is destroyed right here.

I am for:
Guns
Stemcell research
abortion
Freedom of Speech
Lower Taxes
Smaller Government
Gambling
Social Security Reform
Hunting

I am against:
ANY form of Gun control
Socialized Healthcare
Hillary Clinton
John McCain
PETA
Bans on Saturated Fat
Smoking ordinances

Still reading? Well if so, I recommend stocking up on Standard Cap Mags, and so called "Assault weapons", as I think they are high on the hit list of Nancy Pelosi.
